VFW Harold Kinne Post 3296 Honors Clearwater Valley Health

On September 1, 2026, the VFW Harold Kinne Post 3296 in Orofino honored Clearwater Valley Health with the placement of a commemorative brick in the patio area in front of the VFW building.

“We just really appreciate the great care that we receive from the doctors and nurses at CVH,” says VFW member Gerald MacGuffie. “We are excited to honor them with the placement of this brick.”

The brick bears the inscription: “To all doctors, nurses and staff at CVH and clinics, thank you for the service you give to our veterans. VFW Post 3296.” The message serves as a heartfelt expression of gratitude from local veterans for the compassionate care they receive from the Clearwater Valley Health team.

Members of CVH administrative staff were present for the placement. “We are so honored to receive this special recognition from our local VFW,” says Lenne Bonner, CEO of Clearwater Valley Health. “Our veterans have sacrificed so much in service to our country and our communities. It is a privilege for us to care for those who have given so much, and we are deeply grateful for the trust they place in our physicians, nurses, and staff. This recognition means a great deal to all of us.”

Although she was unable to attend the presentation, Dr. Phebe Alley expressed her gratitude for the veterans she serves. “This VA community is so special; it is an honor to take care of them,” she said.

The commemorative brick serves as a lasting symbol of the strong relationship between Clearwater Valley Health and the veteran community. While Clearwater Valley Health is dedicated to caring for all members of the community, the organization is especially grateful for the men and women who have served our nation.
