We have always enjoyed our time in the area and what it offers our family. We’re excited that we have finally been able to make living here a reality and are enjoying every minute of it.”
Walls spent 5 years as a Medical Lab Technician before becoming a nurse and then spent 5 years in nursing in acute care including ICU, Med/Surg, GYN and Pediatrics followed by 9 years as an Oncology Nurse in outpatient clinic doing case management, infusion therapy and as an oral chemo nurse navigator, before becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Nikki is passionate about having the opportunity to work in so many diverse areas of healthcare from infancy through adulthood. “We all know that working in the medical field can challenging. But, finding a job where I can truly make a positive impact on someone’s life while providing patient-centered care. Is what I truly strive for,” says Nikki.

Nikki Walls works as part of a provider care team with Dr. Rebecca Katzman. “Nurse practitioners are happy to have close provider-patient relationships and take satisfaction in teaching those in their care. By helping patients have a voice in their treatment and better understand their health, I am able empower them to advocate for themselves, leading to healthier lives,” says Walls.

On a Sunday morning, you can find Nikki doing various things depending on the season, “In spring and summer you may find us in the mountains camping and enjoying the serenity of the mountain view while enjoying a morning drink and listening to the wildlife. If we are not camping, spending time at our home in the mountains, tending to our garden and enjoying time with our children. During football season, we love to spend our Sundays watching football on TV. Winter months will find us enjoying the warm heat while sitting in front of our fireplace.”

When asked how she takes her coffee Nikki responded, “I do not enjoy drinking hot coffee, but I do, however, love caramel iced coffee drinks and am also a Diet Pepsi fan!”

Nikki and her husband have been married for 15 years. “We have built our dream property in the mountains overlooking Kamiah and the Clearwater River. We have two beautiful children, a daughter, Kaelyn, who is 13 and starting her Freshman year of high school and a son, Kolten who is 10, who is starting 5th grade. Our family and children are very active in the outdoors and participating in sports and we are their biggest cheerleaders and thoroughly enjoy watching them participate in activities they love to do.”
